CITB SSSTS courses are endorsed by Build UK as the standard training for all supervisors working on Build UK sites. They are designed for construction workers that supervise teams or for those wanting to become a supervisor. The courses provide an understanding of Health, Safety, Welfare, and Environmental issues which are crucially important when working in a high-risk environment.

What is involved in an SSSTS course?

Our Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) courses are taken over a duration of two days and consist of continuous assessment of group and individual work by a highly experienced CITB Approved trainer. At the end of the course, each candidate is also required to sit a multiple-choice question test; the results will be available immediately after taking the test with a CITB SSSTS certificate following shortly after.

Course duration

The CITB SSSTS course is run over two (2) days.

Examination

At the end of the course, candidates shall take an exam consisting of 30 questions (22 multiple choice & 5 written questions); the pass mark is 80% (24/30 marks).

Certification

Successful candidates shall receive a CITB SSSTS certificate.

Gold ‘Supervisor’ CSCS Card?

You will need to complete a Level 3 or 4 NVQ in order to acquire a Gold ‘Supervisor’ CSCS card; we are approved to deliver NVQs at all levels. Please contact us for further information.
