NVQ assessments are site -based ; meaning, you will have to be in work for us to be able to conduct an assessment. We dispatch an assessor to observe and ask questions during a typical day, and you will be judged on your knowledge, performance and experience.
Achieving an NVQ is really about knowing how to do your job well and safely; it is very much about proving your competence especially at the lower levels; as little as three years on the job experience is often enough to qualify you.

Earning NVQ levels is really about knowing how to do your job well and safely. Especially at the lower levels, as little as three years on the job experience is often enough to qualify you.
Our Level 2-3 Construction NVQs course tutors are qualified and experienced health and safety professionals, with extensive experience in Construction and Risk Management.
All Trainers at EM Training Solutions hold numerous health and safety qualifications such as the NEBOSH General Certificate, and the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety which is well above the required industry standard to ensure that the delivery of the course is to the highest standard.
The NVQ Certificate is valid for 5 years.

You will need to have a valid CSCS test (not older than 2 years)

What are the hours of the course?
NVQs can typically be completed from 8 weeks -12 months depending on the effort made by the candidate; you set your own pace!
Can I come in and see you face to face as that would give me peace of mind?
Yes, absolutely we encourage our customers to have a face to face discussion with us regarding their training course and training needs.
This puts your mind at ease so you know you are dealing with real people and a real business that will give you the best service possible.
It will also give you the opportunity to meet some staff members or even your trainer if they are not delivering training at the time of your visit.
