LEVEL 6-7 NVQ CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGEMENT
It gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and competence without necessarily attending a class room based course; our assessor will assess your competence on site. The assessor will come to you! However, we may also assess you remotely; please for further information regarding this option.
The course is suitable for existing Managers/Foremen currently working in the construction industry.
Previous Construction Site Management experience is essential to achieving this qualification.
Potential candidates must be able to demonstrate to us that they can meet the requirements of the qualification before enrollment; an initial assessment will be conducted for this purpose.
Assessment will be carried out via the On-site Assessment and Training (OSAT) route at your workplace; there will be no workshops, no classrooms, and no time off work. The number of site visits by the allocated assessor will depend on the candidates’ motivation, experience, and availability.
Assessments will be tailored to the individual candidate’s learning style and learning needs.
DurationEvery candidate will have the support of our appointed assessor/s for a period of one year from the point of registration.
The appointed assessor/s will coordinate site visits to the candidate’s workplace and support them to gather evidence that will be used to complete their portfolio of evidence.
The qualification will be achieved between 1-12 months depending on the motivation and availability of the candidate.
AccreditationThe qualification is accredited by Pearson Edexcel or Proqual Awarding body.
The qualification is valid for a lifetime.
All Trainers at EM Construction Training hold numerous health and safety qualifications such as the NEBOSH General Certificate, and the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety which is well above the required industry standard to ensure that the delivery of the course is to the highest standard.
Yes, it is accredited by the CITB which stands for the Construction Industry Training Board for short.
Are there any prerequisites for the Course?There are no prerequisites for the course, but all delegates are expected to already have a valid CSCS card.
What are the hours of the course?The hours are 9am to 5pm for both weekend and weekday courses approximately.
Can I come in and see you face to face as that would give me peace of mind?Yes, absolutely we encourage our customers to have a face to face discussion with us regarding their training course and training needs.
This puts your mind at ease so you know you are dealing with real people and a real business that will give you the best service possible.
It will also give you the opportunity to meet some staff members or even your trainer if they are not delivering training at the time of your visit.
