You shall have to take the CITB HS&E test plus this course in order for you to get the green laborer card; if you have not passed the CITB HS&E (50 questions) test yet, please book our ‘Silver‘ or ‘Gold packages‘, as you shall not be able to apply for a CSCS Green card for laborers without passing the CITB HS&E test.

This course includes a FREE resit should you fail your first test!

All Laborer CSCS card applicants are now required to pass:

• a CITB HS&E operatives test (CSCS touch-screen/computer test’)
• the QCF L1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment training and assessment.

We are accredited to deliver both tests/training!

We offer both tests and training for the laborer CSCS Card on THE SAME DAY and at THE SAME VENUE (The CSCS Test should be booked at least 48 hours in advance)! This will save you time and money as you will not have to miss several days at work.

There are 5 learning outcomes, namely:

• Outcome 2: Importance of Manual Handling in the Workplace
• Outcome 3: Working at Height
• Outcome 4: Risks to Health within a Construction Environment
• Outcome 5: Working around Plant and Equipment

Our LEVEL 1 H&S IN A CONSTRUCTION ENVIRONMENT course tutors are qualified and experienced health and safety professionals, with extensive experience in Construction and Risk Management.

All Trainers at EM Construction Training hold numerous health and safety qualifications such as the NEBOSH General Certificate, and the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety which is well above the required industry standard to ensure that the delivery of the course is to the highest standard.

Is this course accredited?

Yes, it is accredited by the CITB which stands for the Construction Industry Training Board for short.

Are there any prerequisites for the course?

There are no prerequisites for the course, but all delegates are expected to already have a valid CSCS card.

What are the hours of the course?

The hours are 9am to 5pm for both weekend and weekday courses approximately.

Can I come in and see you face to face as that would give me peace of mind?

Yes, absolutely we encourage our customers to have a face to face discussion with us regarding their training course and training needs.

This puts your mind at ease so you know you are dealing with real people and a real business that will give you the best service possible.

It will also give you the opportunity to meet some staff members or even your trainer if they are not delivering training at the time of your visit.
