We are a Pearson VUE approved Internet Test Centre (ITC) and as such, are able to conduct CSCS tests on short notice; we shall need 48 hours notice prior to any CSCS testing event.

The Operative test can be booked with voice-overs in the following languages:

An interpreter can also be requested if assistance is needed for other languages.

The Specialist test can be booked with an interpreter, but no pre-recorded voice-overs are available.

There is no foreign language assistance available for the Managers and Professionals tests; proficiency in English is mandatory.

The Operative test can also be booked with British Sign Language on screen.

The content of CITB CSCS tests and CPCS Renewal tests varies according to the category of test a candidate wishes to take. We however provide specialist advice to candidates that may want clarification; please call us on 020 3150 1299 for guidance ; we shall most likely have a package to suit your needs.

Our CITB HS&E TEST and CPCS course tutors/tester are qualified and experienced health and safety professionals, with extensive experience in Construction and Risk Management.

All Trainers/Testers at EM Construction Training are approved by awarding bodies and hold numerous Health & Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH , IOSH , teacher training qualifications ,chartered membership to relevant industry bodies such as CIOB, IOSH etc. topped with industry ‘muddy boots’ experience; this ensures that the delivery of all courses is to the highest industry standards.

We are able to help with renewal of your CSCS or CPCS cards with our CSCS or CPCS renewal tests; we can also help with your CSCS and CPCS renewal card application. Please ask member of our staff for guidance.

EM Construction Training can also provide companies with CITB HS&E (CSCS) and CPCS Training at their venue. A trainer can be sent to the company address and deliver the course if there are a minimum of 6 candidates. Is this course accredited?

Yes, it is accredited by the CITB or CPCS depending on what course you choose.

Are there any prerequisites for the Course?

Photographic ID is mandatory.

CPCS card renewals will also require one to have passed a CSCS test within the past 2 years.

For one to acquire a CSCS Laborer (Green Card), they will have to take a Health & Safety awareness course & test on top of the CSCS test (‘CSCS touch screen test’).

What are your testing hours?

Tests are run Monday-Saturday 10:00 am-5:00 pm & Sunday 10:00 am-1:00 pm.

Does the price include a resit should I fail my test?

No; you will have to pay for another test at a discounted rate; alternatively, you can purchase a package that allows a free resit.

Does the price include card applications?

No; we can however guide you on how to apply for your card or help you apply for your card for a fee that covers our administration costs.

Can I come in and see you face to face as that would give me peace of mind?

Yes, absolutely, we encourage our customers to have a face to face discussion with us regarding their training and training needs.

This puts your mind at ease knowing you are dealing with real people and a real business that will give you the best service possible; we have been about since 2008!

It will also give you the opportunity to meet some staff members or even your trainer if they are not delivering training at the time of your visit.
