Our NPORS Vehicle Marshal N403 course is meticulously designed to equip individuals involved in vehicle movement with comprehensive health and safety training. From practical lessons on safe vehicle maneuvering to understanding relevant legislation, this course ensures participants gain the essential skills and knowledge needed to perform the role of a Vehicle Marshal effectively.

There might be an online induction prior to the start of the course.
The “Experienced operator” option does NOT include training; it’s a Test only option.

Our NPORS Vehicle Marshal (N403) Course tutors are qualified and experienced plant operators , with extensive experience in Construction and Risk Management.

All Trainers at EM Construction Training hold numerous Plant Operations & Health and Safety qualifications such as the NPORS/CPCS Tester/Trainer cards, NEBOSH,CSCS,IOSH, PGCSE etc which are well above the required industry standard to ensure that the delivery of the course is to the highest standard.

On Site Training

EM Construction Training can also provide companies with NPORS Vehicle Marshal (N403) Crane Supervisor Training at their venue. A trainer can be sent to the company address and deliver the course if there are a minimum of 4 candidates. Please contact us on 020 3150 1299 for this service.

Yes, it is accredited by the NPORS which stands for National Plant Operators Registration Scheme

Are there any prerequisites for the Course?

Entry Requirements:

Must be 16+ years old

Good understanding of English (spoken & written)

5 point PPE required (hard hat, hi-vis top & bottom, safety boots, High Visibility gloves, Googles etc.)

CITB or NPORS HS&E Test needed if you want the CSCS logo on your card ; we offer the CSCS test here:

No formal qualifications required – open to both novices and experienced operators

What are the hours of the course?

The hours are 08:00 am to 04:00 pm for both weekend and weekday courses.

Can I come in and see you face to face as that would give me peace of mind?

Yes, absolutely! For over 13 years, we have been encouraging our customers to have a face-to-face discussion with us regarding their unique needs.

Knowing that you are dealing with real people and not made-up websites with stock images, will certainly put anyone’s mind at ease.

It will also give you the opportunity to meet some staff members or even your trainer if they are not delivering training at the time of your visit.
