The NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Construction Site Supervision-Building &Civil Engineering is the official qualification for Construction site Supervisors/Foremen.
It gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and competence without necessarily attending a class room based course; our assessor will assess your competence on site. The assessor will come to you! Alternatively , you could be remotely assessed with video evidence and photographs of your work being relied upon.
The course is suitable for existing Supervisors/Foremen currently working in the construction industry.
Previous Construction Site supervisory experience is essential to achieving this qualification.
Potential candidates must be able to demonstrate to us that they can meet the requirements of the qualification before enrollment ; an initial assessment will be conducted for this purpose.
Candidates MUST also provide own work place ; we shall assess you at your workplace. Please do not ask us to provide a site for you.
Our NVQ course tutors are qualified and experienced health and safety professionals, with extensive experience in Construction and Risk Management.
All Trainers at EM Training Solutions hold numerous health and safety qualifications such as the NEBOSH General Certificate, and the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety which is well above the required industry standard to ensure that the delivery of the course is to the highest standard.
The NVQ course Certificate is valid for Lifetime.
EM Training Solutions can also provide companies with NVQ Training at their venue. A trainer can be sent to the company address and deliver the course if there are a minimum of 6 candidates. Please contact the office for this service.
Is this course accredited?
Yes, it is accredited by the CITB which stands for the Construction Industry Training Board for short.
Are there any prerequisites for the Course?
There are no prerequisites for the course, but all delegates are expected to already have a valid CSCS card.
What are the hours of the course?
The hours are 9am to 5pm for both weekend and weekday courses approximately.
Can I come in and see you face to face as that would give me peace of mind?
Yes, absolutely we encourage our customers to have a face to face discussion with us regarding their training course and training needs.
This puts your mind at ease so you know you are dealing with real people and a real business that will give you the best service possible.
It will also give you the opportunity to meet some staff members or even your trainer if they are not delivering training at the time of your visit.
