    Fire safety training is required for all organisations, and employees such as fire wardens, managers and supervisors must be familiar with workplace fire safety laws and legislation. This introductory Fire Safety Training Course is designed to teach you what procedures need to be in place and how to react professionally in the case of a fire emergency.

    The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 and the Fire Safety Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 state that all employers must provide their staff with fire safety training and information. Some of the key fire safety principles you’ll learn are what causes a fire and how to prevent them, complying to safety laws in the workplace, evacuation procedures and housekeeping and maintenance.

    Our Fire Safety Marshal Training tutors are qualified and experienced health and safety professionals, with extensive experience in Construction and Risk Management.

    All Trainers at EM Training Solutions hold numerous health and safety qualifications such as the NEBOSH General Certificate, and the NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety which is well above the required industry standard to ensure that the delivery of the course is to the highest standard.

    The Fire Safety Marshal Training includes instant e-certificate.

    The CITB grants are available for companies who are registered for Grant And Levy scheme. For the SSSTS Course, subject to CITB approval, you may be able to claim back £70.

    The process for the grant is straight forward. The candidate must provide the Company Name, Registered address and CITB Levy number. These details will be collected on the first day of the course on the delegate notification form.

    Once received, CITB will then process the claim as per their procedure. SRP Training is not responsible for the actual claim and as such once the details have been provided, the company must contact CITB for any updates or queries.

    EM Training Solutions can also provide companies with SSSTS Training at their venue. A trainer can be sent to the company address and deliver the course if there are a minimum of 6 candidates. Please contact the office for this service.

    Is this course accredited?

    Yes, it is accredited by the CITB which stands for the Construction Industry Training Board for short.

     

    Are there any prerequisites for the Course?

    There are no prerequisites for the course, but all delegates are expected to already have a valid CSCS card.

     

    What are the hours of the course?

    The hours are 9am to 5pm for both weekend and weekday courses approximately.

     

    Can I come in and see you face to face as that would give me peace of mind?

    Yes, absolutely we encourage our customers to have a face to face discussion with us regarding their training course and training needs.

    This puts your mind at ease so you know you are dealing with real people and a real business that will give you the best service possible.

    It will also give you the opportunity to meet some staff members or even your trainer if they are not delivering training at the time of your visit.
