The SEATS course online is part of the CITB Construction Skills Site Safety Plus range of CITB training courses . It includes the environmental aspects of the new Health, Safety and Environment touch screen test.

Successful candidates will receive the CITB Site Safety Plus certificate, valid for 5 years.

CITB SEATS Course Online Details

SEATS training online will provide delegates with an introduction to environmental issues on construction sites and has been designed to provide the basic environmental knowledge that sub-contractors are required to know and demonstrate to major contractors.

Delegates for this CITB SEATS course online will also be trained to identify both the environmental impacts of their work and improvement opportunities, as well as how to control and minimise their impact on the environment.

The course content is the same as that of the conventional classroom-based course but is delivered in an online classroom environment.

This Online CITB SEATS course includes the following elements:

• •  A basic understanding of Environmental Management Systems.
• •  Site waste management.
• •  Prevention of pollution and water management.
• •  Use of energy and resources.
• •  Being a responsible contractor and a good neighbour – including statutory nuisance, communications, archaeology and heritage.

The CITB SEATS course online is delivered through online virtual classroom-based tutorials and case studies. Candidates must attend the course in full and the final part of the course will include a multiple-choice test.

• EM Training has now rolled out online courses using Zoom to achieve a virtual classroom environment.

  Delegates will be required to show original photographic identification via video link.

  This online SEATS course will be remotely delivered by a tutor in a virtual online classroom and delegates must have access to a suitable PC, laptop or tablet with a robust high-speed internet connection sufficient to cope with online delivery. Delegates shall also need a suitably sized quiet room where they can carry out the course without interruptions.
